Very little, as I provide my own P.A. system. I need 10-16 chairs without arms (not stools please) for participants to sit on and a reasonable area for them to work in.  I can use stage or non stage areas as long as we have some room to move about. Yes absolutely. I have full Public Liability cover with a reputable Insurer.  In addition, when you sign a contract for a show you exempt yourself from any libility for my equipment in the event of damage (unless through your negligence, as you would expect).

The normal cost for a show is £250. I do have lower rates available for charitable organisations seeking to raise funds. Rates can be adjusted according to the nature of the show you require so please ask for more information. Please use the Contact page to book a show or simply to find out more. Payment can be made by cheque (to be received 7 days prior to the event please), Paypal (using the link on the Contact page) or cash at any time ahead of the show. For shows held out of the South West of England I also charge a contribution towards travel and accommodation as appropriate. Please ask for details.

A government report into stage hypnosis in 1999 reported that it was no more dangerous than other entertainment shows. In other words taking part in a hypnosis show is perfectly safe. In these days of Health and Safety madness we wouldn't be able to operate if there was any significant risk!

Certainly not. The emphasis is on fun not humiliation. I promise that no-one will have to remove any articles of clothing, bite onions, suck lemons etc. neither will they be expected to reveal any details about their private and personal lives. This is my guarantee to you.

No there will be no residual effect at all. If there was such a risk hypnosis shows would be forbidden.  The show can be vigorous and therefore a little tiring, but I always adapt the performance to suit the age and perceived health of volunteers.

I tailor shows to suit the audience. If I am asked to do a family show it would certainly be a show to which you could bring your children. If I am asked to do a adults only night for example it may not be suitable for younger children, so I suggest that they stay home. Even for adult shows that may be a 'little edgier' my material is  all non-offensive and designed not to embarrass or humiliate anyone. All participants must be aged 18 or over.

A normal show is approximately one and quarter hours long. However, everything is flexible and you can request a show of a different duration. Just contact me to discuss your individual requirements.

Certainly not! All participation is on a voluntary basis and I will not coerce anyone in any way. For a successful show I need to work with people who really want to be involved.
